What Claude can connect to
Anthropic’s help pages say Claude can connect to Google Workspace: it can search and read Gmail, draft emails, view and create Calendar events and find free time, and search and read Google Drive files. On team plans an owner must switch connectors on first. Check Anthropic’s page for the current rules, as features change.
Files: Anthropic’s help page says chat uploads can be up to 500 MB per file, with up to 20 files per chat, including PDF, DOCX, CSV, TXT, JSON and XLSX. Check the current limits before you rely on them.

What can Claude do for a small business?

Will Claude send emails without my approval?
In our setups, no. Claude drafts and a person approves. Check the connector settings for your plan so you know exactly what Claude is allowed to do.
Is my customer data safe in Claude?
It depends on your plan and settings. Anthropic states that by default it does not use inputs or outputs from its commercial products to train models. Read its privacy page to see which plans count as commercial before you upload customer data.
Which Claude plan should a small business choose?
Many small teams start on Pro or Team. Pro is described as for everyday work and Team as for teams of 2 to 150. Check claude.com/pricing for current prices and limits.
How long does it take to set up?
